    What's wrong with the sentence below

    "We have not received the money yet. We will inform you once it came in.

    "We have not recieved the money yet. We will inform you once it has come in. " You cannot have a paste tense in the clause following 'once' since the whole sentence is set in the future. After 'once', you may put in a state - the state of having come in, since perfect tense refers to a state.

    Does that help ? complex answer but it is a difficult question.
