    Smile Doha Round Talks (for correction)

    Could someone please correct the text below? Thanks!

    News about the failure of Doha trading negotiation Tuesday afternoon went over all the Washington D.C. Both Democratic and Republican parties show rare solidarity on the US. trading policy.

    Both Democratic and Republican parties said in a voice that China and India should be responsible for disruption of the negotiation; and it is right that American representives didn't give in. This year,the two parties have been at odds about signing bilateral agreements between the US and Columnbus, and the US and South Korea respectively.

    I think I cleared up a few things, but I'm sure someone else can offer some better input.

    Hi colloquium,

    You’re very helpful. Thank you.

    and it is right that American representives didn't give in (not sure what you are trying to say in this last clause).
    I mean American negotiators didn’t make any concessions during the talks and the two parties thought it was right for that.

    Both the Democratic and Republican parties showed/are showing (not sure) rare solidarity on the US. trading policy
    I mean the two parties often disagree with each other’s policies but this time they show their unity.

    Both Democratic and Republican parties said in a voice that China and India should be responsible for disruption of the negotiation;
    I remember the idiom wrong. I mean “ with a voice” rather than “in a voice”

    This year,the two parties have been at odds about signing bilateral agreements between the US and Columnbus, and the US and South Korea.
    I think the sentence is very clumsy but I don’t how to write. Could you or someone else recast it? Two "the US" repeat.

    spoke with one voice/expressed the same opinion
