She hasn't left/didn't leave the Pendrive with the doorman yet. Tell her to inform you when she does, please.

    Hi,
    Is this text ok, please?
    Thanks.
With "yet" use present perfect - it relates to the present time.
    She hasn't yet.

The second part is a little confusing. Maybe "Make sure she knows that she needs to let you know when she does."

She hasn't yet. But "didn't yet" also relates to the present time. It's the "yet" that relates to the present time, regardless of whether one uses "didn't" or "hasn't".
Having said that, more people probably would say "hasn't yet", but I think there is no grammatical reason to prefer "hasn't" over "didn't".

The second part is a little confusing. Maybe "Make sure she knows that she needs to let you know when she does."

    Thanks.
Could I say "Tell her she must let you know when she does."?
"Inform" isn't definitely a good choice, right?
    Thanks.

    2006, you'd say "I didn't yet" instead of "I haven't yet"?

    Huh.

I could say that; it's perfectly correct.
Both are correct. These sentences are examples of perfect tense being one correct way, not the only correct way, to express the intended meaning.
Tell me what's 'wrong' with "I didn't yet."

I (didn't yet decide)(haven't yet decided) which car to buy.

    Huh.

'Yet' in the sentence comes under item 8 of the definitions found here:

yet - Definition at the #1 Online Dictionary

    and here:

Learning English | BBC World Service

It is used, together with the perfect tense, to define 'an action's persistence in time' .I have not come across 'yet' used with the past tense which generally refers to a specific point in time in the past.
