    Default Before My Boss

    Dear friends and Teachers,

    A. Rose is a good friend of mine as well as my boss. She often sits on top of my desk eating my chips. We joke like that all day long. She's my friend before my boss.

    - Does "she's my friend before my boss" mean "She considers me her friend not my boss"?

    Thanks a million!

    NamSteven

I'd take it to mean: "I consider her my friend rather than my boss".
Perhaps "She considers me her friend rather than her employee" is also true.

Your friendship means more to her than your working relationship
