    Default You or one ?

    Each cigarette which a person smokes does some harm; and eventually you may get a serious disease from its effects.

    you => one

    " One " should be the choice in this sentence instead, right ?

    If it's in reference to second-hand smoke, then I'd use "you":

    Each cigarette a person smokes does some harm (to you) and eventually you may get a serious disease from its effects.

    If it's not in reference to second-hand smoke, then I'd use "s/he"/"one". :D
