    hi please give a sentence for these idoms along with meanings for easy understanding and in short learning english

    beat a retreat
    bed of roses
    beat black and blue
    black sleep
    blessing indisguise
    the skin of one's teeth
    do away with
    scapegat
    fish in troubled water
    fool's in troubled water
    fool's paradise
    hard and fast rule
    hobson's choice
    bear the burnt of
    at a low ebb
    apple of discard
    all ears watchful
    add fuel to flames
    set the thames on fire

    Can you show us what you have come up with so far?
    Do you understand the literal meanings of these phrases?
    "add fuel to flames". When you add fuel to flames, the flames get more fierce. The idiomatic meaning is the same.
