    Had Been Suspended

    Dear friends and Teachers,

    A. Wayney Rooney had been suspended 3 times before he moved to play for Machester United.

    - Is this sentence ok to write?

    Thanks a million!

    NamSteven

"moved" is a strange word to use there, at least in North American English.
    Thanks a million!

    Re: Had Been Suspended

The phrase "before moving to Manchester Utd" would be my suggestion.
