    Can you be clearer? Do you mean how can you use the phrase "on the edge"?

    What does "on the edge" mean and how is it used in a sentence?
    The problem is that what "on the edge" means depends on how you use it in a sentence.

    Things are so tight that the country is on the edge of a major economic disaster. = is about to face disaster

    I am on edge waiting for the results of the tests. =
    am exceedingly nervous
