    Which of these is correct:
    1-He is the guitarist for the group ABCD.
    2-He is the guitarist with the group ABCD.
    3-He is the guitarist of the group ABCD

    They are all correct, but the context of their use might vary slightly. The first two would be the answer to the question, "What does he do?" The third one would be the answer to the question, "What instrument does he play?"

    It could also depend on how important he is- they seem to ascend in order.
