    Make + Failed

    Hi,

    Can I write as follows?

"I read your theorem yesterday. There were many mistakes in it. Certainly, those mistakes make your proof failed."

Would you tell me if I can use to make + v+ed like that?

    Thanks.

    No. Either:

Certainly those mistakes mean your proof failed.

    OR

Certainly those mistakes make your proof fail.

    You can say:
Those mistakes make your proof suspect.

    Hi 'Professors' Anglika and RonBee,

Without your comments, my paragraph was too bad.

    Thanks
