    back in style

What, this is a $100-million book of matches? I've been out of it a few years. Is this back in style now? Are these $100-million sunglasses?

It is from a movie. Without any further context, could you please tell me what is "back in style" there? Thanks. :)

In the 1960s, hip-hugging jeans were in style; they were fashionable. Today, they're back in style; they're fashionable again.
