    We answer
    Yes,they do or yes it does?

    The correct pronoun for family is they. Therefore, the response should be, "Yes, they do."

    sorry for meddle. if the question is ''does your family..." shouldn't the answer contain ''does'' as well? on the other hand, if ''your family'' amounts to ''they'', shouldn't the right question be ''do your family..."?

    I think the formal answer is "Yes, it does."
    Maybe in conversation you may use "Yes, they do."

    Or "Yes, we do" if the respondent wants to emphasise that he is part of his family.
