    Default "Said" words

Hello, I'm wondering if there is a word that categorizes or defines all the words that can be used in conjunction with spoken words.

A few examples of what would be in that category:
    said
    remarked
    shouted
    bellowed
    asked
    replied

Incase I didn't write that clearly enough, here is another example:
    "Hello," Bob said.
    "Goodbye," Sally replied.
The words 'said' and 'replied' would be examples of ___ ?
