    until

    1. Is the following sentence correct?

I was talking to him until you came.

    2. I had been taling to him until you came.

    3. I was talking to him when you came.
= I was talking to hime while you came. (true or false?)

    What's the question?
    3. I was talking to him when you came.
X= I was talking to hime while you came. (true or false?)
In 3, to use "while" you'd need two concurrent processes - for example 'I was talking to him while you were on the way here'.
