    Hi Teacher,

    My friend sent me an email last week ago. I want to reply his email now. The question can i write :-

    1) Sorry for late reply.

    2) Sorry for late replied.


    I know reply is present tense and replied is past tense.
    Should i use past tense in my mail?please assist, thank you very much.

    Either:

    Sorry for my late reply
    Sorry for not replying sooner

    #2 is totally incorrect.
