    Default Re: chairman and CEO

The Chairman is the chairman of the board of directors. He often does not work at the firm on a daily basis.

The CEO is the Chief Executive Officer. He generally works daily at the firm.

They are frequently the same person.

    OR -

The Chairman of the Corporation may also be the CEO.

This is not the same as the President of the Board of Directors, often also called a chairman.
