    Here is one of the sentences about the essay (in the party), can you tell me I need to use each other or one another? Why?
    Although people did not know each other, everyone was happy

    They are fairly identical and can be used in the place of each other. Like so many other expressions in English, the rules surrounding this are long dead and buried.
