    Smile I'm confused

Hello. I'm a English learner from China. I'm a bit confused by the following sayings. I'm not sure whether they can be called idioms though. Will you be so kind as to explain the meanings for me? Thank you in advance.
    1. What is a "throw away attitude"
2.What does it mean to "expect people to give them all the importance of stardom"?
3.What does it mean to "be hosed"?
    Thank you again.

    Re: I'm confused

A throw away attitude means, I think (as idioms are often not very specific in their meaning) a "devil-may-care attitude" - lackadasical, not stressed, easy, uncaring. Generally not meant critically, just an observation that the person is not as serious about life as the speaker is.

The importance of stardom is celebrity status; to expect to be treated like a (movie) star.

To be hosed is to get the bad end of the deal. Paid way too much, or made a bad agreement that was not fulflled in your favour.

    Hi-

"Hosed" can also mean exhausted. (ex: I've been working double shifts all week: I'm so hosed!)
