Question An argumentative thesis for the topic "Parks and the City"?

    Any idea?
Choice one: Parks are like human hearts, without them cities will unlikely to survive.
Choice two:Parks are green lungs of the City to give good fresh air in blooms of beauty & the cool of the atmosphere with relaxation & feeling of the colourful & peaceful sound of the birds & the bees.

Is the first one argumentative enough?

Is it the cities that benefit - or the people who live in the cities? Or are the two synonymous?

Well, anyhow. Here is my new thesis.
In the concrete jungle, where busy traffic and high rising skyscapers are clusterd, parks have become oasis of calm, green and wildlife for childish laughter and a quite moment to contemplate the worries of the world in a tranquil setting.

    Umm..is this thesis argumentative enough?

I don't find it argumentative at all. It's descriptive.

    I liked your "lungs" metaphor.

You can argue that cities need parks the way a person needs lungs.

Twice you were asked about the relationship between a city and its inhabitants. I think that's an idea you need to keep in mind.
