    informal and email closings and the comma

    Hi,
    If you are writing an email or informal letter, the closing form "See you" should be followed by a comma or a period.

    Not a teacher.

    You would use a comma if you write your name under the closing:

    bla bla bla.

    See you,
    Name
    You would use a period if you were going to just end the message with the closing:

    bla bla bla.

    See you.
