Exclamation Please translate, I am lost!

"A divine Creater has give humans intelligence and superiotrity, and created the natural world as a storhouse of raw materials for our use. The destruction of habitat and extinction of other species are acceptable costs of human life."

    Especially the "acceptable costs" part.

The person writing this believes that God has created everything for humans.
God has made humans superior to everything else. The natural world has no value in itself, but only as a resource for humans (a storehouse of raw materials).
Therefore, the destruction of nature is acceptable (justifiable, condoned by God) because that is the reason for nature - as a resource for humans. If the habitat has to be destroyed for the benefit of human life, that is a cost, but an acceptable one.
