    compaing relationships...

The relationship between microprocessor and software is somewhat like our brain and thoughts. Without thoughts, our brain is just a piece of flesh.

kindly check the grammar. can we substitute any other word instead of thoughts?

    Re: compaing relationships...

First, I would clarify it by adding
The relationship between microprocessor and software is somewhat like that between our brain and thoughts.

And as parallel construction is always clearer, and usually more correct:

The relationship between microprocessor and software is somewhat like between our brain and our thoughts.
    - or -
The relationship between microprocessor and software is somewhat like between brain and thoughts.

Another word for thoughts might be ideas, but I see nothing wrong with thoughts.
