Lastly, where are the unstressed syllables in these sentences? Thank you in advance.

    Re: Stressed/unstressed words

This depends on what you want to stress in your meaning. It could be

I know why he wanted to see you
I know why he wanted to see you
I know why he wanted to see you
I know why he wanted to see you
I know why he wanted to see you
I know why he wanted to see you
I know why he wanted to see you

    What’s the time?

Don’t forget to turn out the light!

    It’s another beautiful day today.

    It’s another beautiful day today.

Lastly, where are the unstressed syllables in these sentences? Thank you in advance. The unstressed would be the articles (a / an / the ). Let's look at stressed words instead, in perhaps the most common usage of each sentence:

Once upon a time, there was an old woman

In the light of the above statement, I shall abstain from voting.

Good morning. How can I help you?

I’m away for the rest of the week.
