Is "its" one of the possessive pronouns?

Hi, Teacher. I've read a lot of grammatical materials about possessive pronouns. Some of them say that "its" belongs to the possessive pronoun family; the others mention nothing about it. Would you please tell me if "its" is one of possessive pronouns? Thank you! a puzzled soul
