    Default Any Grammar Mistakes?

    Hi all,

Are there any grammar mistakes in the following text?

We haven't received any amount check acknowledgement from you yet. Please procure it urgently, if you haven't received it yourself yet. We are having problems in the ledger.

    Thanks.

    Mr. Nutty

Mr. Nutty, I'm afraid I can't quite follow your letter.

Is the person you are writing to supposed to send you the check? Or is the person you are writing to supposed to have received a check from you, but has not cashed it yet?

He is supposed to tell me whether he has received the check or not.

Please also tell me if there are any GRAMMAR mistakes in it.

We haven't received your acknowledgement that you have received the check. If you have not yet received it, please [-- do what? How can he procure it if he doesn't have it? --]. This oustanding amount is creating problems in our ledger, so I would appreciate your prompt attention. Thank you.

He can call the party and ask them to give him the check.

I think 'procure' isn't the right word here. Can you suggest me another word?

    Thank you very much,

    Mr. Nutty

    Okay, maybe this:
We haven't received your acknowledgement that you have received the check. If you have not yet received it, please contact the issuer to have it sent to you immediately. This oustanding amount is creating problems in our ledger, so I would appreciate your prompt attention. Thank you.

I'm still a little confused. If your company is the source of the check, then the person reading this will not differentiate between you in accounts and the person who is supposed to have sent it. If I got a letter from Company A that said "you haven't cashed our check, but if you haven't gotten it, contact the person who should have sent it" I would be thinking "But isn't that you, Mr. Company A person?"

It might be more helpful to say "If you have not received it, please let me know and I will follow up with our account payable department to ensure that it has been sent."
