    Arrow Help me to find a word

    In the name of the Merciful Allah,
    Hi guys, please help me to find a word that describes the act of someone makes another memorize something written, by uttering it carefully before him repeatedly, if necessary, until the latter be able of saying this exactly as the former did. Thanks a lot ahead

    Maybe " inculcate" , but I'm not sure.

    to drum something into somebody's head i.e to make learning something by rote.
    'inculcate' is used in the positive sense.
