    Is this sentence grammatically correct...

I brave the rain and reached the office for the meeting. Instead of appreciating it, my boss said it would have been better, if I had reached on time. Should I have not came for the meting, then how would had they did the it, as all important documents were with me.

Re: Is this sentence grammatically correct...

This might be one way I would write it:

I braved the rain and reached the office for the meeting(.) , but instead of appreciating (it) the effort, my boss said it would have been better, if I had (reached) arrived on time. Silly man! (Should) if I (have) had not (came for) come to the meeting, (then) how would (had) they (did the) have managed it, as all the important documents were with me(.)?
