country wine weak heads may overpower

Country wine weak heads = ?
    Overpower?
Please rewrite " And country wine weak heads may overpower", so that i coul;d easily understand it.
    Context:
Man may be dazzled by a country flower,
And country wine weak heads may overpower

Country wine is strong enough to get you off of your feet. It's not for the weak ones.

Your sentence sounds kind of backwards: country wine weak heads may overpower. It doesn't sound right but maybe someone was trying to come up with a rhyme and therefore put the word "overpower" at the end of the sentence? In any case, that's what it probably means.

    Hi Natalie,

    You've figured it out exactly!

That was two poem lines in a short story.
