    Default Good

Does "I did it for your good" make sense?

    Context:
    Where is my novel?
    I've sent it to Michael.
    And where is my wine?
I've sent it to a beggar.
    What?
I did it for your good. Because you're too ill to read a novel or drink wine.

It is a bit outdated but fine. "for your good" - what is good for you
