    saw logs

    Hi.

Have you heard "saw logs" before? The phrase means "to breathe noisily during one's sleep." I wonder if it's worth remembering.

    Re: saw logs

Is it important to remember the expression? Sure. You might hear it some time.

Listen to him sleep! He is really sawing logs.

We tried to get John up, but he was sawing logs.
