Default can you help me please!!!

This is my own translation but I don't know if it's rigth in english please I need help before monday, thank you in advance:

The headquarters of distribution groups are in turmoil. Most are anticipating a possible contagion of the financial crisis which would slow down their activity. And some are planning in urgency energetical measures to limit the consequences of such a contagion.
Nothing less easy, because action schemes are defined one year in advance.Yet many retailers are going over again their schedule of December, a month when they usually make fifteen per cent of their annual sales. The aim is to avoid a sudden blow of consumption, without breaking into their piggy-band however. To solve this headache, the solution is to shrink the number of catalogs and to increase the promotional density, by pointing out the essential conforts : rices, pasta or hygiene products, all sold under one euro by piece.Another strategy to reassure the consumers is : to decrease a lot more the prices of most high psychological impact products.Coffee, washing powder and the diapers could be in this way re-sold at "prix coutants" , even a bit above. If the consumption weakens too much when it gets closer to December 24th , distributors could still decide at the last minutes to cut down the prices.

Post after periods and after paragraphs. I am not sure what you mean by "contagion" there. In fact, there are a number of phrases that are puzzling, starting with "headquarters of distribution groups". Also, I understand "energetic measures" but not "urgency energetical measures". What do you mean by "Nothing less easy"?

(You can say "planned one year in advance" but not "defined one year in advance.)
