Smile worldwide and all over the world

    Please, dear teachers and friends,

what are the differences between 'worldwide' and 'all over the world' ?

Mr Peterson has talked to people all over the world.
Ms Peterson has been playing piano worldwide.

    Thanks

    No difference at all.

I just changed a piece I was working on from "worldwide" to "around the world" because that length of phrase looked better visually the way the words were set.

Of course, both terms are generally hyperbolic, as there are usually far more places in the world that the statement does not apply to.
