    talent x flair

    Dear teachers,
is there any difference between the words flair and talent? Dictionaries give in both cases the same definition-a natural ability to be good at something.
    Thank you very much. KP

    Re: talent x flair

Here's how I see the difference:

She has a flair for good design. (good aptitude, good eye)

She has a talent for good design.(earned knowledge, experienced)

    Re: talent x flair

    Susiedqq,
thank you very much for the explanation.
One is born with flair whereas talent we develop later in our lives..
Surprising for me, thank you again.
