    Default a lived process

    Hi,

Could anyone tell me what the following sentence means, especially the word 'lived.'

    Hegemony is a lived process.

    Thanks a lot.

There are a couple of possibilities. Perhaps it is a typo and the word is supposed to be livid (doubtful). It's hard to say what a "lived process" means unless it is a process that must be endured (lived through). More context would, no doubt, be helpful.
