Here are two tests you can use to check for adjectives:

    Adjective Test #1
    What kind of _______?

    EXAMPLE: A blue car.
    Q: What kind of car?
    A: A blue car. (Adjective)

    Adjective Test #2
    Seems__________.

EXAMPLE: She is tired. She is a doctor.
    Seems tired. (OK; Adjective)
Seems a doctor. (Not OK; Not an Adjective)
