Smile beeing told to do so

    Please, dear teachers and friends,

    Do these answers sound OK?

    Why are you doing this?

    - because I've been told to
    - because I've been told to so
    - I was told to
    - Mr Simpson told me to do so
    - because I was told to do so

    Thanks!

Very few native speakers would use the "do so" part, so all your sentences would sound fine if you just stopped each one after "to".
