    hi,

    is this sentence correct?

    "It is useful, for example, when you wish to copy both link's address and its name to another document or when you need to copy both username and password to login..."

    Is this for your manual?

    I helped write a government manual some years ago. We were told that no sentences were to be over 10 words long.

    That's a very long sentence.

    Consider shorter instructions :


    Use this same process to:
    copy both the link's address and its name to another document
    or
    copy both username and password to log in..."

    I was told sentences should not exceed 7 words :)

    you are right, I'll try to keep them shorter...
