    Tenses

    1) Since I (pay).....for our meal, I (try)..... attract the waiter's attention.

    2) Whatever (happen)....., I (meet)...... you here in a week's time.

    Please help me to fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs given in the brackets. Thank you.

    1) My answer is: " Since I would pay for our meal, I tried to attract the waiter's attention."

    2) My answer is: "Whatever will happen, I will meet you here in a week's time."

    Do you think they're correct?
