Default mail to the manager regarding project need relevant subject line

    situation
You have been working hard on a project that has gone on for three months. The delivery date for your portion is fast approaching. You now realize that you will not be able to make the due date because of some technical problems, a shortage of personnel, and a recent change in scope.
    Help me how to
Write an e-mail to the manager, xyz, giving her the news that this project will not be completed on schedule.

    Sub: Project Plan Versus Actual

    Dear XYZ,

I am greatly thankful to you for electing me on this role.

So far all the planned things are going smooth. Couple of days back I have received communication from the business stating that there is a revised plan on the approach.

I feel due to that I may not be in a position to complete the tasks as planned earlier.

I will put my complete efforts and try to complete the tasks in a given time.

    Thanks for the support.

    Regards,
    Sreenivas
