Default what is the difference between syntax and grammar?

    hi!

i know that syntax is more on the formation of the words in a sentence, but how it is different in grammar is quite confusing.

can anyone give examples of this matter?

    thank you!

Talking Re: what is the difference between syntax and grammar?

The syntax is just important in sequence.(Most use in computer program.)
Gramma is important in many ways such tense ,passive voice, reported speech.....ect.

ps.I am not sure it is right or not.

Grammar consists of two parts - Morphology and Syntax.

By the way, does your computer allow you to type in smaller letters?

You know that I wasn't talking about your computer.

What do you mean by 'important in sequence' and why do you link your sentences with 'but'? As is known, 'but' joins clauses contrasted in meaning. What is your sentence introduced by 'but' contrasted with?
