    Default to decide

    hello teachers,

[1] I have decided to go to his house later this evening
[2] I decided to go to his house this evening
[3] I decide to go to his house this evening.

to me, all these three sentences are correct.
I've heard these tenses but I wonder what are the differences among them.
could you help me? Thank you.

[1] I have decided to go to his house later this evening. This is a statement, you intend to go to his house this evening.
[2] I decided to go to his house this evening. This is a past event, you decided to go, maybe you went, maybe something happened that stopped you from going.
[3] I decide to go to his house this evening. This is incorrect.
