    Smile holy crap...

    Please, dear teachers and friends

The other day I heard a native speaker say something that starts with holy crap...
well... I am trying to guess what the hell that girl said:

Something like: holy crap in a bag of ...

So, is it possible to complete that sentence? Does it make any sense? I would like to point out that I am not sure about the words in red, that's what I am trying to guess.

    Thanks!

Hahaha... I guess it is 'in a bag of beans', not sure! I have searched at youtube.com, it was a girl who said that on a TV series. What a strange sentence, isn't it?

So, where did you find it? I did some searching and found something kinda not suitable for minors.

by the way, is that sentence in blue fine?

    Thanks

Yep, the blue sentence is fine.

I used Google and found exactly one site. I didn't actually bother to go there, but now I see what you mean.

But "holy crap in a bag of beans" as a phrase seems harmless enough. After I found it, I erased my previous guesses "bag of chips" or "bag of rice". But then -- and this is what I miss -- I had written I was willing to bet it would be a bag of some sort of cereal food. Surely beans qualify!

yeah, I said it is strange, who in the world would put crap in bag of beans?

I didn't know it was "beans" until you came up with that expression! I searched (before creating this thread) for "holy crap in a bag of" and got thousands of entries... then you said it was "beans", so, I got two entries, "usingenglish.com" and that one you are talking about!
I guess it is not as common as "holy shit/crap" itself!

    Thanks for helping out!
