    Default verb

"Now he says he did not really want the job in the first place because it would have been too hard on the family. It is just sour grapes."

    The verbs are okay?

Say: "Are the verbs okay?" Or: "Are the verbs appropriate?" Or: "Are the verbs used grammatically?"

There is no need to post the same question twice.
