Smile Hung and hang / drink drank drunk

    Question...

    1. HANG, HUNG , HANGED

Is it correct to say I hung a picture, yesterday. or I hanged a picture yesterday. I thought hung was only used as the action the person takes to strangle themselves.

    2. DRINK, DRANK, DRUNK

Is is correct to say I drunk a glass of water. Or is the word drunk only used in the terms of being inebriated.

    3. SAID VS TOLD

When do use said and told.

    Thank you,
    Dan

She told me I had to hang myself, so I hung my portrait on the wall. Then I hanged myself from the light fitting.

"said" is more general; "told" implies specific communication.

He said I was to come today. I told him that it was not possible.

    Thank you,
    Dan
