In case of shops you can call the opening ceremony as "Inauguration". what is it in case of house?

Is it "House Opening ceremony" or ....?

Please bear with my poor english. Thanks for your help.

If you mean an informal reception one gives for a bunch of their good friends after moving into a new house, a commonly used expression is 'a house-warming party', at least in BrE.

    Hope this helps.

Inauguration is used when a head of state is sworn in and takes office.
