    Hello :)

How do you pronounce "Swarovski" as in Swarovski crystals?

    Thanks

    Re: Swarovski

It's pronounced as though both the 'w' and the 'v' were the same letter:
    'svarovski'
If you go to their website, you can listen to a short video by the creative director who pronounces the name in her talk about the newest collection.

But remember that the company is Austrian, so the director is speaking with a German accent in which "w" is pronounced "v".

In the UK is it "sw-a-rov-ski".

    Re: Swarovski

    Thanks :)

What about the "S"? Is it pronounced as "s" or as "sh"? Because I heard people pronouncing it:
    shwa-ro-vski

Well, actually, the creative director is French.
