    Post Hindi vs English

    There is a word in hindi "KAAMCHOR" which denotes a person who normally avoids doing any work..........what will be Phrase / single word in english language which denotes such type of person...

    Pls help...

    I'm not a professional teacher, but, the connotations of the word are important in looking for an equivalent. If कामचोर, or कामछोड़, carries the same sort of tones that bhenchod and मदरचोड़ do, then I would suggest that asking for an English equivalent is not appropriate in a public forum. If कामछोड़ is only a mildly derogatory term, then something like "slacker", or "layabout", or adjectives like "work-shy" might suit.

    I guess the word you could be look for is "lazy" "slacker" "being idle" etc.
    Look up "Workaholic" in the thesaurus, and check the antonyms.
