    Default Is there a difference.....?

    Is there a difference between (1),(2),and (3)?
    (1) I hope you are healthy
    (2) I wish you are healthy
    (3) I wish you were healthy

    1 is a general greeting and implies that you do not know their current health state
    2 is the incorrect form of 3
    3 is saying you know they are sick and you wish that they were not
