    Default hi

i want to know whether this sentence is complex or simple?

-What is remarkable about the laws of the nature is the accuracy of simple approximations.

our teacher said the two "is" are both finite verbs so it is complex but we insist that it is a simple sentence..which one?
    thank you

'What is remarkable about the laws of the nature' seems to meet the definition of a subordinate clause, which would make it a complex sentence.
