    Are all these expressions correct

    to cook on a low heat
    to cook over low heat
    to cook on a low flame
    to cook over a low flame

    to cook on a low flame - maybe a gas oven
    to cook over a low flame - gas hob

    to cook over low heat - sounds like a barbeque
    to cook over a low heat - gas hob
